So today is P-day.
V-Day was two days ago. Natalie's B-Day was on Friday the 13th and Andi's before that!
Yesterday was nuts. We had 4 people come to church! Two of them are now on baptismal dates and one will be soon. Then we got this random note from the first counselor in the bishopric saying that he just got a phone call from a man named Robert who wants to get baptized. He said something like this "ElderPacker knows me and has my number. Tell him to give me a call.". Naturally the counselor just expected me to have it.
I don't even know who this guy is!? What the?
Pray that I'll remember Robert. And find his phone number. Possible baptism!
Pray for Ola, Scott, Lucy and Martin.
Elder Nogueroles says "Hi". Lydia, he likes turtles. So much so, that I took the time to show him the pictures you sent of the tortoise you received. He knows everything about turtles. He wants to be given charge of all the turtles in the Celestial Kingdom.
Being bold with people helps. Telling people you want them to get baptized and setting a date for it is essential for a successful conversion experience. It makes the awkwardness in lessons disappear. It creates a constructive environment to teach and commit, and makes it safe to bring up questions.
